Dear All,
For those want to replicate the Cold Fusion Reactor, I give you
some advices :
- Use a pyrex or a
borosilicate vessel ( i.e. used for making coffee ),
- Use a DC Power Supply which is able to give about
200 V DC at 10 A ( don't use AC voltage ), see the power supply
diagram that I use ( here ),
- Don't use too much electrolyte solution, 0.6 L is the maximum
for a small 2 mm diam tungsten rod. a 0.2 Liter solution is the
best.
For the Potassium
Carbonate ( K2CO3 ) :
The weight of 1 Mole is 138.2 g. If you want to have a 0.2 molar
solution ( 0.2 M or 0.2 mole/L ).
For 0.2 Liter, you need to add : 0.2 * 138.2 * 0.2 = 5.5 g of
K2CO3
For the Sodium Hydrogenocarbonate ( NaHCO3 ) ( Baking Soda ) :
The weight of 1 Mole is 84 g. If you want to have a 0.2 molar
solution ( 0.2 M ).
For 0.2 Liter, you need to add : 0.2 * 84 * 0.2 = 3.4 g of
NaHCO3.
- Use a LOW molarity, 0.2 M is the best. If you connect your CFR
directly to the power grid through a DC bridge rectifier. Use
only a 0.2 molar solution, this will avoid to broke your fuse...
- BE CAREFULL, don't forget to disconnect your CFR from the power
grid line BEFORE touch it...
- Do your experiment in a well ventiled room,
- I recommend you strongly to read carefully the document about
the Mizuno experiment and wrote by Eugene Mallove at : http://www.amasci.com/weird/anode.txt , you will find in this paper some
very helpfull advices.
Good CFR experiment, I shall be glad if you could sent me some
photos of your working Cold Fusion Reactor.
Best Regards
Jean-Louis Naudin
